To preserve the safety and confidentiality of our students, a written note (handwritten, email, or fax) will be required from parents/legal guardians in order to make any changes to daily transportation arrangements for our students. We will no longer be able to accept phone call requests to alter student transportation arrangements.

We do realize changes occur in your daily schedules and we are pleased to accommodate your family’s needs; however we request that you send a note to your child’s teacher, or send an email to our School Secretary, Ms. Stephanie ( to alter any transportation arrangements. Please remember all requests for transportation changes should be received by 2:00PM.

When writing a note or sending an email, please include all important information: first and last name of child, date, the destination address, who will be receiving the child, and the bus number (if riding a different bus). This will help eliminate any confusion for our staff and bus drivers.

This change will take effect on Monday, 2/1/2016. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please feel free to contact our school office at 502-839-4236. Thank you for your help. We appreciate your patience and understanding as additional measures are necessary to ensure student safety and confidentiality.

Congratulations to our EBW Community for a job well done! Our 2014-15 K-PREP accountability profile indicates we are a Distinguished, Progressing, High Performing School scoring in the 92nd percentile of all elementary schools in the state! We are so very proud of our students, families and staff for this monumental achievement!
