Staff Appreciation Week

May 4 - 8, 2015

Thank a faculty member

The Emma B. Ward Parent/Faculty Advisory Committee (PFAC), invites you to help celebrate Staff Appreciation Week, May 4 - 8. At EBW we recognize both our faculty and staff for the extraordinary work that they do educating and nurturing our children.

Simple ways that you and your child can recognize the teachers and staff in your child’s life, include:

·         Hand written note, poem or song

·         Fresh picked or handmade flower

·         Volunteer to read to a class

·         Draw, paint, color a picture

·         Donate food or volunteer to work the EBW Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Participation is strictly voluntary and is not intended to put any financial burden on our EBW families.

PFAC will also be sponsoring a Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday, May 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. We need volunteers to serve food and donate picnic type lunch items.  If you are interested in donating food or time, then please contact Kimberly Penn by email or phone - 839-4236 ex.2311.

EBW students made gains from 64% to   the 89% in the 2013-2014 school year!

Way to go students, awesome job.
