Afternoon Student Pick Up Procedures
ATTENTION: NEW PICK UP PROCEDURES
In order to ensure the safety of our students, EBW has a new pick up policy effective this 2010-11 school year. Please be patient and prepared for delays as we set forth this new procedure.
1. Pull to back of the building. Pull up in a SINGLE line and all the way up to the end of the sidewalk to allow ten cars into the pick up circle. Make sure to have your EBW Tag visibly hanging in your car. If you do not have a car tag you will be asked to park in the front of the building (where buses will now load) and check in at the office with an ID.
2. Remain in your car and a staff member will report your tag number. Remain in your car to keep the flow of traffic moving.
3. Your children will be escorted out of the building and to your car. Students will not be dismissed outside.
4. Please remain in your line until dismissed. Ten cars will be loaded at a time.
Through teamwork and communication this process will make our school safer for our students and hopefully more convenient for our families.
Please note:
If your child will be riding home with a friend, he/she will need a permission note. A car pass will be written by the school in order for your child to leave.
If you have a family member or another person picking up your child, they will need to either 1) have the car tag OR 2) come to the office with an ID to pick up the child.

Lost and Found
The FRC is responsible for keeping the Lost and Found at EBW. All clothes, jackets, and lunch boxes that are left in the gym, cafeteria, or classrooms are brought to FRC. Parents, if your child is missing one of these items, please call the FRC to see if we have the items. At the end of every month all items that are not accounted for will be donated to Goodwill. If items show up with names on them, we make every effort to get them back to those students. If you have questions or would like to contact us about coming by to look through the items for something that belongs to your child, please let us know.
Attendance Incentives at EBW and Anderson County Schools
For a certain time period, students will be eligible for prizes to reward them for perfect attendance. One name will be drawn out and that student will be presented with the grand prize at school. Students will also be eligible to win certificates for McDonalds Arch Cards. Please make sure your child comes to school; new prizes will be awarded each month. Students must be in their classroom promptly at 8am to begin the day.
