AC Schools NTI Plan for the 2023-2024 School Year
Dear families, as we approach the time of year when inclement weather can cause school closures and dismissals, we wanted to communicate with you our plans for NTI and snow days. Anderson County Middle School to Receive Prestigious Kentucky Purple Star Award for Supporting Military Families
Anderson County Middle School has earned Purple Star Award Designation from the Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, making it one out of a growing number of Schools to receive the award in the Commonwealth. Anderson County Middle School is the third school in Anderson County Schools to receive the award, joining the ranks of Emma B. Ward Elementary and Sparrow Early Childhood Center.

U.S. News & World Report Ranks Anderson County High School Among Best High Schools
Washington, D.C. – August 29, 2023 – Anderson County High School has been ranked No. 3,115 in the nation among the 2023-2024 Best High Schools by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings evaluate more than 17,600 schools at the national, state and local level. Anderson County High School was also ranked No. 35 in Kentucky and No. 1 in the Frankfort, KY metropolitan area.

    The great red, white, and navy Bearcats of Anderson County High School: known for their amazing teachers, intelligent students and… coffee? Teachers Mrs. Kristen Shouse, with the help of Mrs. Ashley Norton-Gary, has touched the hearts of many students and staff members this year with a new project—a coffee cart called The Bearcat Cafe Exceptional Brew.
