Guidelines for Success

Below are our school wide Guidelines for Success.

Class Dojo

Class Dojo is an online management system that allows teachers and parents to communicate about their students.  Stay on top of what's happening at school by going to www.classdojo.com or downloading the app.  To join, your child's teacher will invite you by either email, text or a code.   Once you have joined, parents can see the class and school stories (pictures, announcements, and more) in a feed.  You can also use Dojo to stay on top of class and school events and to private message your child's teacher.  Your child can also have a student account where they can upload classwork to send to their teacher.  Parents can also add all their children's code to track each student's progress  across multiple classrooms.

We encourage all of our SSE families to join Dojo this school year!

Whenever students are caught following our school rules, they can earn Dojo points in their account!  Dojo points are a symbol of positive praise given to students and are part of our PBIS Tier I intervention system.  These points continue to accumulate until a student decides to trade them in towards incentives.

Star Store

Students earn Dojo points for following school directions.  Those points can be cashed in at our School Star Store.  Students can use points to purchase things like pencils, erasers up to bigger prizes.  Students can also earn extra points by being caught around the building following directions.  Staff can give students Dojo Dollars!  When students receive Dojo Dollars they turn them into their teacher to earn bonus Dojo points!
