A little blurb about Mrs. Smith...
This is my ninth year teaching at Anderson County High School. I lived in Lawrenceburg for the majority of my life and graduated from Anderson County High School. I love this town and this community which is one of the reasons I have returned to teach here. After graduation, I attended Western Kentucky University. I received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Mathematics and a degree in Secondary Education. I also completed a Masters degree in Mathematics from Western Kentucky University. During the time I spent away from central Kentucky, I worked/volunteered in the Warren County School District, and I taught science and mathematics in Barcelona, Spain. I got married in April of 2014 to my best friend. I'm happy to be home and to be a Bearcat again.
I currently teach AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, MATH 150, Pre-AP Pre-Calculus, and Algebra 2.
I'm so excited for this year and to be working at the high school. You will be hearing from me through e-mail, phone calls, and progress reports. However, if you need to get a hold of me feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] or by phone at the high school. I'd love to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kayla Smith
