What do I need to do if I want my child to attend school 5 days a week (Option A)?
Nothing at this time. If you do not fill out the Enrollment Options Form requesting information for options B or C, we will assume that you plan to have your child attend 5 days a week. All parents will receive an enrollment verification form closer to the beginning of school and you will mark your choice on that form.
How does the hybrid plan work? Will there a set number of days they would have to attend in person classes?
The Hybrid plan would be tailored to suit you and your child's needs and could be different for different families. Once you fill out the Enrollment Options Form, you will be on a list to be contacted by your child’s school. The school official that contacts you will work with you to plan a hybrid option that meets your family needs as well as your child's educational needs.
What is the deadline to submit for options B & C for the upcoming school year?
Once you fill out the Enrollment Options Form, you will be on a list to be contacted by your child’s school. The sooner this process can be started, the better. Filling out the form does not mean you have to choose one of the options. It simply lets us know that you are interested and would like to discuss the possibility of using one of these options.
Can we switch between options once school begins? If so, can we switch at any time or do we have to wait for the end of the 9 week grading period?
Yes, students will be allowed to change plans that will best suit their family needs at a given time. While we would prefer it to be before school or at a natural break point in the school year such as a quarter or semester end, we will work with families to find the best transition possible should that not be able to be accomplished.
