Welcome to Mr. Barnes' Literature I.

BIO:

I was born and raised in Anderson County.  I am a 1991 graduate of ACHS.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Centre College in 1996.  I have a Masters of Education in Administration from the University of Louisville.

I am currently beginning my 15th year as a language arts teacher, all at Anderson County. 

I am the head baseball coach, and I am beginning my 18th year as a head coach;  15 at Anderson.

I am married to Stephanie, a 2nd grade teacher at Saffell Elementary, and I have two beautiful daughters:  Anna Foley (11) and Charley Lynn Barnes (3).

I look forward to a wonderful 2012-2013 school year.
