 Summer Slide Challenge!

I am excited to announce this year’s Summer Slide Challenge!  We encourage all of our students to continue reading and practicing math facts over the summer to prevent learning loss.  Your welcome packet that was sent home includes a Summer Reading Treasure Hunt, a Reading Log, and Math Fact Log. (Incoming 5th Graders have a Lemonade War Packet) Complete all sections, log the amount of time spent reading and practicing math facts, have a parent/guardian sign it, and return it the first week of school.  Everyone who returns their Summer Slide Challenge packet will receive a prize!  Those students who log the most reading and math fact minutes will receive a special recognition!
