Anderson County Schools Summer Food Service Program 2023

Routes and Schedules

Anderson County Schools is providing free meals to all children 18 and under in our Summer Food Service Program. 

USDA regulations require that children only receive one breakfast and one lunch per day. 

For example, If a child receives the Monday non congregate meals packaged together in sacks from the White SFSP Truck that covers breakfast and lunch for Monday and Tuesday they may not receive congregate meals at Saffell Street Elementary or from the Red SFSP bus on Monday or Tuesday that week. Names of children may be required from the different locations so we can track meals. 

USDA regulations require that only parents/guardians may pick up meals. Guardians may include grandparents, babysitters, daycares, etc taking care of children.Parents may not  pick up for children of other households in place of those parents/guardians.

No Meal Service on any routes/locations on July 4, 2023

We have 3 different options

1. Congregate Meals at Saffell Street Elementary School 

   1. Starting on Tuesday, May 30 - Friday, July 28, 2023

   2. Meals served Monday - Friday

   3. Names of the children may be required so we can track meals.

   4. Breakfast: 7:30am - 9:00am

   5. Lunch: 10:30am - 12:45pm

2. Congregate SFSP Red Bus

   1. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

   2. Names of the children may be required so we can track meals. 

   3. Starting Thursday, June 1 and ending Thursday, July 28, 2023

   4. Anderson County Library

      1. 11:00am - 11:45am

   5. Anderson County Splash Park

      1. 12:15pm - 1:30pm

3. Non-Congregate Meals White SFSP Truck

   1. Monday (Meals for Monday and Tuesday) Wednesday, (Meals for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)

   2. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 - Wednesday, July 26, 2023

   3. Ninevah Christian Church (1195 Ninevah Rd, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342)

      1. 11:00am - 11:20am

   4. Corn’s Trailer Park

      1. 11:40am - 12:00pm

   5. Anderson County Middle School Parking Lot 

      1. 12:10pm - 12:30pm

   6. Robert B. Turner Elementary Parking Lot

      1. 12:40pm - 1:00pm
