Saffell Street Elementary is the proud recipient of the Kentucky Arts Councils TranspARTation grant. This grant will in part, help fund the transportation costs for all 5th Grade students at Saffell Street to attend the Stage One Theatre Production of Anne Frank: And Then They Came for Me. TranspARTation Grants are made available through the Kentucky Arts Council. The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports this educational field trip with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. We are so fortunate that this funding is available to assist in the costs of attending educational, arts field trips for our students. Saffell Street Elementary 5th Graders will be attending this play in February. We appreciate the support of our Legislators as they consider funding each year for the Kentucky Arts Council.
