Two Anderson County Schools Identified as KSI/RtI Model Sites

The Sparrow Early Childhood Center and Emma B. Ward Elementary have recently been identified by the Kentucky Department of Education as a KSI/RtI Model Sites with Exemplary Instructional and Intervention Practices. 


This distinction was awarded to both schools after a series of interviews and site visits by Judy Halesek, the KDE (Kentucky Department of Education) Read to Achieve Coordinator, and Pamela Pickens, the KDE Math Achievement Fund Coordinator, both from the Division of Learning Services. SECC and EBW will be featured on the Best Practices link on the KDE website allowing other schools to get information about their effective teaching and intervention practices.
