Anderson County Schools will improve student safety by closing a portion of Mustang Trail behind Anderson County Middle School during the school day. This recommendation was made by School Resource Officers after consultation with local first responder departments, and the Kentucky Center for School Safety. The portion of Mustang Trail directly behind the Middle School will be closed Monday through Friday from 8am until 3pm. Citizens will still have access to travel on Mustang Trail from Woodford Street to the County Park Road and from Main Street to the Animal Clinic during the time the portion of the road is closed behind the school.
