Schools Superintendents were told today by Governor Beshear that schools are strongly recommended to not begin in-person classes before September 28, 2020. Anderson County Schools will now open the 2020-2021 school year virtually on September 8, 2020. Superintendent Mitchell is reviewing the guidance and seeking additional information from the Kentucky Department of Education in order to maximize the opportunities we can safely offer our students, including, but not limited to, small group instruction, counseling/mental health, special needs and intervention services. Individual schools will be releasing details later this week on technology distribution. We will release more information as it becomes available.
