KYTC Scholarship [Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Technology]

If you are interested in a 2 or 4 year degree in civil engineering, please see below.  If you have questions please let me know, both of my brothers went to UK for FREE by getting the 4 year Civil Engineering degree with the Ky Transportation Scholarship.

Good afternoon!  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is now accepting applications for scholarship opportunities for students who will be pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville, or Western Kentucky University AND who would be interested in working for KYTC after graduation; as well as students who will be attending KCTCS (Big Sandy Community & Technical College (BSCTC) & Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) AND who are also interested in working for KYTC after graduation.  
 
If selected, the CE students will be eligible for stipends in the amount of $6,200/semester for the freshman & sophomore years and $6,600/semester for the junior & senior years.  CET students will be eligible for stipends in the amount of  $3,000/semester they are working to pursue their Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
 
All students chosen for the program will also have the opportunities for summer employment with KYTC, as well as any co-ops that their school may require.
 
*Note – this is a scholarship available for those interested in employment with state government in the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet after graduation.  It is not a scholarship that is offered as general financial assistance.
