ATTENTION FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, and JUNIORS! Students wanting to take the PSAT exam at Anderson County High School on Wednesday - Oct 19, 2016 must register for exams by 11:59 pm, September 18, 2016. Registrations that are not paid by 11:59 PM, Wednesday, Sep 21, 2016 will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered. This is especially important for any Juniors wanting to apply to the Governor's Scholars Program this year.
ASVAB test will be given at 8:00 am on Wednesday September 21st for those seniors who are not college ready. Scores are not released to any military branch.
Thursday September 29th will be our annual Senior Parent Night from 6-7 pm with our Parent Connection Night taking place from 4-7 pm.
October 1st is the first day for seniors and their parents to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) for financial aid for the 2017-2018 school year. www.fafsa.gov Apply now! Federal Student Aid has more than $150 billion available to help you pay for school. |

Greetings from Morehead State University! I hope the school year is going great for you so far! I’m sending this e-mail to provide you with some information about an MSU event coming up near you. We will be hosting a Meet MSU Night at the Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, KY. on Thursday, September 29th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event will be a great opportunity for your students, especially your seniors, to meet with the faculty and staff from many of our academic programs and departments, as well as chat with admissions and financial aid! A light dinner will also be served during the event, and it’s free! The address for the event is below: Meet MSU Night – Frankfort Frankfort Convention Center 405 Mero Street Frankfort, KY. 40601 Also, for seniors who attend, we will waive our $30 application fee for those who apply at the event! If possible, these students will need to bring with them their most recent high school transcript and ACT scores so that we will have their completed application on file. Please encourage your students to attend this event via daily announcements, newsletters, websites and social media, or whatever method is most convenient for you. Students can register to attend the event atwww.moreheadstate.edu/meetmsu. Or, they can just show up at the event as well!
