Cynthia,

An admission officer from Emory University will be in your area hosting an event for students and their families.

Thank you for helping us spread the word. RSVPs are encouraged as some locations fill quickly.

Monday, September 23, 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning
Lexington, KY

Families can join us to learn more about Atlanta, our campus community, and what makes the Emory undergraduate experience unique.

Dear Cynthia,

Does your school have deaf or hard of hearing students who are interested in enhancing their collegiate experience with a fully accessible environment? Do they aspire to be high achievers in their desired fields? If so, we would like to meet them!

Located in Washington, D.C., we are the world’s only university designed to be barrier-free for students who are deaf and hard of hearing. Our students come from many different cultures and communication backgrounds. This fall, we welcomed over 250 new undergraduate students - 20 percent of whom are new signers. Gallaudet students come from all over the United States and more than 30 countries around the world. Our rich diversity is a huge part of what makes us unique!

With a Gallaudet degree, our graduates can have it all—a strong liberal education, leadership opportunities among their peers, training in cutting-edge technology, direct communication with faculty and staff, and a worldwide network of 20,000+ alumni. 100 percent of our students graduate with at least one internship. Of our recent graduates, 97% are either employed or enrolled in graduate school. We also have a full slate of NCAA Division III athletics, and a robust intramural program!

Our Admissions Counselors will be coming to your area and would love to meet your deaf and hard of hearing students. To schedule a visit, please complete our Request for Gallaudet University Admissions Presentation form.

Go Bison!

Beth S. Benedict, Ph.D.
Executive Director

P.S.
If any of your deaf or hard of hearing students would like to receive communications and materials directly from Gallaudet University, have them fill out our Online Inquiry Form. Prospective student athletes can fill out our Athletics Interest Page questionnaire.
