Welcome to my Web Page!
I hope that 2012-2013 is the best school year ever for all of us, and that your student loves Spanish & practices it at home with you!
Please encourage your son or daughter to "show off" a little by ordering in Spanish at the Mexican restaurants and by singing you their new songs. Please also tell them to "Say something in Spanish!" to find out what they're learning, & please encourage them to bring home their graded quizzes (There will be lots of 10-word vocabulary quizzes, & I try to pass them back graded the next day.).
Spanish is a beautiful language that is heard pretty much everywhere. Hopefully you'll hear some in your home this school year:)
To the right of this page, you'll find links to my weekly lesson plans, to class rules & syllabi, and to pictures I took in Guatemala with students in June 2011. (I'm especially proud of the Tikal pictures, taken from the top of a Mayan pyramid!) Also linked is a Spanish poem that was published in a national quarterly, written by an ACHS student for A.P. class.
