Hello and welcome to Family and Consumer Sciences courses! On this page you will find multiple resources to aid in your success in your Family and Consumer Sciences courses.
In the area to the right you will find a listing of courses that I am currently teaching. There are helpful links to syllabi, parent information letters, and snapshots. The snapshots allow you to see what material is being covered daily, the daily learning targets and bell ringers. This is an excellent resource to use when students have an absence or to help parents continue discussion about topics at home.

The Family and Consumer Sciences Department at ACHS also offers the opportunity to become involved in FCCLA. (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) This is an excellent nationally recognized, student led organization, which focuses on the family as the core unit of society and encourages participation in community service and leadership development opportunities. Students are given opportunities to receive regional, state, and national recognition for completion of competitive events and projects, and through running for offices within the organization. To the right of the page you will also see a link to the national and state FCCLA websites if you are interested in joining or having your student join. Dues are $15 and can be paid in rooms 126, 128, or 118. |
