Family Resource Centers are designed to help break down barriers between home, school, and community, to ensure that student needs are met, so the best education possible can be achieved. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways including, communicating with families when poor school attendance becomes and issue, assisting families with basic needs, providing school supplies to students, referring families to parenting programs, assistance with childcare, educational support for staff...and the list goes on. Each school is different; therefore, the services of the school may vary.
